Night At The Races!

Night at the Races RSVPs are due by Tuesday, October 17th for this fun evening.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Races start at 7:00 p.m. There will also be Basket Raffles. Tickets are $30 per person, and include Reverse Raffle, Dinner and Drinks. (All guests must be over the age of 21.)

We are in need of donations for the NAR Raffle Baskets! Please take a look and sign-up for whatever you are able to donate. We appreciate any and all contributions!  Please drop-off donations in the office by Monday, October 16th to give us ample time to prepare the baskets.

Trunk or Treat! A Halloween Celebration for the Entire Family.


CCDS is having a Trunk-or-Treat celebration.  Trunk-or-treat will bring Halloween to our CCDS parking lot where kids will walk from car to car and get candy.  Students are invited to wear costumes.

Date:  Monday, October 31, 2017
Where:  CCDS Parking Lot
Time:  From 6:00-8:00 p.m. (setup starts at 5:00 p.m.)

6:00 p.m. – Potluck Dinner – Bring a heavy appetizer to share.  (Hot dogs and beverages will be provided.)
7:00 p.m. – Trunk or Treat

2017 CCDS Alumni Soccer Game! Alums win 4 to 3!

Friday, October 13, 2017, CCDS held the Alumni Soccer Game.  Local alums, parents and CCDS Faculty, played an action packed game, against the 2017 CCDS Soccer Team.   The Alumni/Parents/Faculty won 4 to 3.    The Cougars finished their regular season play with a record of 9 wins and only 2 losses.  GREAT JOB COUGARS!!!  Good luck in the tournaments!  Thank you to everyone that attended.

Secondary School Night – Wednesday, October 25, 2017



All middle school families are encouraged to attend CCDS’ Secondary School Night. This event is held as a courtesy to our parents.  CCDS offers local and surrounding area high schools, private, and boarding schools from across America to visit our school. Parents can visit each school’s booth, ask questions, and get a clear view of what each school has to offer.

Boy And Girl Scouts Club At CCDS!


The Boy Scouts of America will be at the CCDS cafeteria this Thursday, October 5th from 6:00 to 6:30 pm to answer questions and help families sign up for the Boy Scouts. If you are not able to make it, but are interested in the Boy Scouts, please contact Christopher McIntyre (

CCDS’ New Publication A Week At A Glance

The CCDS Week At A Glance or “WAG” will be send by email each week to our families, faculty, staff and Board.  You will be able to view a message from Mike Brown, Interim Head of School, upcoming school events, athletic games, lunch information, parents association information, and various other highlights of the school.  The subject line will read “CCDS Week At A Glance.”

In addition, you will receive The Cougar Press.  This publication will be a recap of the months activities and will be sent the last Friday of each month.
